Firebase Cloud Messaging

Retainza sends push through your Firebase project, not one it owns. You paste a service-account JSON, Retainza verifies it with a test send and stores only an encrypted reference to it.

APNs

iOS delivery runs through FCM's relay to APNs. You upload your APNs key to Firebase once; Retainza never needs a second credential.

Email

SMTP

Retainza is provider-agnostic for email. Point it at any SMTP endpoint and it sends multipart HTML and text with rate-limit-aware throttling.

React Native

A thin wrapper over the TypeScript core. The public key is write-only and safe to ship in an app binary; rendering and navigation stay in your code.

Expo

The config plugin wires the native push setup into your Expo config at prebuild, keeping a managed workflow managed.

Node

The server SDK wraps the Management API. It uses the secret key, so it belongs on your server and never in a client bundle.
